found the above quote meaningful!
How many a times do we give thanks to someone whom we deeply love? Most often, we forgotten about how a little thank you could brighten up someone’s day! & on a side note, psychology experiment actually shows that keeping a gratitude journal will actually increase your well-being, so why hesitate to start it now!
would like to dedicate this post to my 25 hours (nope, 24 is not enough) always there boyf! I know you had been helping me with my household chores, always assisting my momo in her work, all the tasks you are assigned to for my bro’s wedding etc! In fact, a little thank you wouldn’t suffice but still, deep down, you know I’ve always been grateful to have you around! :)
Yup, I do admit that I always pulled you down for dedicating your time to my family, my jobs etc. And sadly to say, your time had been revolving around me, me and still me! Precisely, this is why I always feel guilty when you dont have enough time for yourself esp when sch had started for you and work isnt always smooth. You may not feel the guilt or gratefulness within me or maybe I didnt express it all out, but I had to admit that, I forget to thank you enough and take your help and everything for granted sometimes. At times, I felt remorseful because I always tell you Im a person who constantly need thank yous for all the things I’ve done but having to reflect upon myself, I didnt really do a good job in telling how grateful I am to have you around! Im really sorry dear boy!
We always express gratitude towards our friends but how often do we give thanks to the one and only one who did so much for us without complains. It may be a very simple gesture, but all of us have a need to feel appreciated for the things we had done. And I gotta admit, I didnt do enough for you, boyf! If I could use a math equation to sum up what I’ve been doing, it will be this:
throwing tantrums, giving you a black face, ignoring your feelings, taking you for granted > appreciating you, saying plenty thank yous to you, shower you with hugs and kisses!
Felt really bad when I’m writing this but I really needa give you a big hug and a warm THANK YOU for helping me so much, for dedicating your time to my family and for being the boyf who always do so much for me without complains! :)
To friends who are reading this now, start giving thanks to the ones you love! To feel appreciated is truly a good feeling and you just need to pen your appreciation down into words for it to be conveyed, that easy :)
